Another Country Dairy

This time for a friend who will be 60 next month and as we've known each other since we were 11 years old I wanted it to be special.

The foxglove has been decoupaged then matted onto miri, white card embossed with polka dots, more mirri and finally onto a backing paper I made myself from the image.  The butterfly was made out of acetate with the compulsory Stickles added lol,  and the sentiment also matted onto mirri.

Hope you like it.

I'm really into Joanna Sheens Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady cd and this card was made from one of the beautiful images on it.

The base card is a pearlescent white with gold sparkles, followed by turquoise matting sprayed with iridescent Spray & Sparkle, gold mirri and a textured white card.  There's two embossed lines down the left with three button peel-offs and Nesties were used to mat the image.  The dragonfly was made out of acetate with toning Stickles added.  It's hopefully achieved the clean and fresh look I was after.

Thank you for looking.

First Post

Well ,it felt very strange doing my first post so I thought I'd better include a card to prove I do actually make them, lol!  I've chosen one of my favourite cards, a Christmas card to my beautiful granddaughter, Jesten.  Hope you like it.
